Renewed Hope Trust is pleased to be able to be advertising a vacancy for a third member of staff – Fundraising and Volunteer Co-ordinator.
It is a varied role which involves the person supporting in the Drop-In as required as well as working closely with the staff team and Fundraising Sub-Committee.
This person will work closely with the Project Co-ordinator and Administrator to manage volunteers, in particular supporters wanting to fundraise for the charity or support us in ways other than giving their time. This will include membership of the Fundraising Sub-Committee, which has taken a lead in applying for grants and identifying funding needs in the past year.
He or she will also look after managing non-financial donations such as clothing and food. This includes sending out appeals and logging and managing stock as necessary.
During the East Surrey Winter Night Shelter the number of volunteers increases 5-fold and focus turns to ensuring they are all trained and that all shifts on both Shelter and Drop-In are manned adequately. Therefore between December and March this person will also take up responsibilities related to these.
There may also be times the person will be expected to represent the charity at community events which may including working in the evenings and weekends. In these cases, time can be claimed back in lieu.
Hours: 25 hours a week
Salary: £9.45 per hour (£12,285pa)
Annual Leave: 22 days plus bank holidays. Any bank holidays worked will be converted into annual leave.
